# What you need:

→ Dairy

01 - 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)
02 - 1/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

→ Chocolate

03 - 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted

→ Sweetener

05 - 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey

→ Flavorings

06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Toppings (optional)

07 - Fresh berries, to taste
08 - Shaved dark chocolate, to taste
09 - Whipped cream, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 15–20 second intervals, stirring between bursts, until fully melted and smooth; set aside to cool slightly.
02 - Add cottage cheese, milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, the cooled melted chocolate, maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.
03 - Blend on high for 1–2 minutes, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed, until the mixture is completely smooth and has a silky mousse-like texture.
04 - Taste and, if desired, add additional maple syrup or honey; blend briefly to incorporate any added sweetener.
05 - Spoon the mousse into four serving glasses or small bowls, dividing evenly.
06 - Refrigerate the portions for at least 30 minutes to firm and chill; this step is optional but improves texture.
07 - Top each portion with fresh berries, shaved dark chocolate or a dollop of whipped cream as desired and serve chilled.
