Delicious golden pasta chips air-fried with olive oil, Parmesan, and seasonings for a crispy snack.

# What you need:

→ Pasta

01 - 9 oz short pasta (penne, rigatoni, or farfalle)

→ Seasonings

02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
05 - 1/2 tsp paprika
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Cheese

08 - 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until just al dente according to package instructions. Drain thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until ingredients are evenly distributed.
03 - Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if required by the appliance.
05 - Arrange the pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pasta chips are golden brown and crispy.
06 - Allow the pasta chips to cool slightly before serving. Offer with preferred dips such as marinara or pesto.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They're ridiculously crispy without any deep frying or extra mess to clean up.
  • You probably have everything in your kitchen already, and they come together faster than you'd think.
  • One batch disappears in minutes, but they're fancy enough to serve at a casual dinner.
02 -
  • Drying the pasta after draining is non-negotiable; wet pasta steams and never gets properly crispy no matter how long you air fry it.
  • Don't skip shaking the basket halfway through—uneven air circulation is the only reason these won't turn out perfect.
03 -
  • Use a kitchen towel that actually dries rather than just moves water around—a clean linen towel works better than paper towels for getting the pasta truly dry.
  • If your air fryer basket is small, don't cram it; three batches of evenly spaced pasta beats one crowded batch of steamed disappointment.
