Fig Brie Arugula Grilled Cheese (Printable version)

# What you need:

→ Bread & Dairy

01 - 4 slices sourdough bread
02 - 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
03 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

→ Fruits & Greens

04 - 2 tbsp fig preserves
05 - 1 cup fresh arugula (30 g)

→ Optional (for serving)

06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two bread slices butter-side down on a clean surface and spread 1 tablespoon fig preserves evenly on each.
03 - Layer sliced Brie evenly over the fig preserves, then top with a generous handful of fresh arugula.
04 - Cover with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
05 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.
06 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from heat, allow to rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve. Optionally, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
